New Single Tooth Anesthesia System at CPD

wandAt Central Park Dentistry we strive to provide not o­nly cutting-edge technology to our patients, but also methods of making your visits even more comfortable.

One of our latest additions here at Central Park Dentistry is the new Single Tooth Anesthesia System.  What is it?  Think of those painful shots prior to cavity repair or other work as a thing of the past.  This new system uses computer controlled delivery to precisely control how the anesthesia is delivered and under what pressure.  No more syringes needed… you will appreciate the difference!

Cash For Candy at CPD

Here at Central Park Dentistry we’re taking a stand against sweets this Halloween!

Yes, we are putting our money where your mouth is.  This year you can bring your excess candy to our Central Park Dentistry office here in Mason City on Monday, November 2nd between 3 and 6 PM to receive $1 per pound of candy plus a small dental “goodies” bag.

Dr. Lala and Dr. Hansen are leading this anti-decay movement by giving away dollars and toothbrushes in exchange for cavity-provoking candy.

Visiting your dentist twice a year and brushing daily are great preventative measures, but doing away with excess sweets altogether would really give your teeth a healthy boost.  Kids can still have the fun of trick-or-treating, and now their piggy banks will benefit as well.

Global sugar consumption for kids increases by about 2% annually and currently sits at 50 million tons per year, which means that parents need to be sure their kids are being cared for more than ever.  Candy, as well as hurting children’s teeth, can lead to hyperactivity and weight gain.  In some cases, the wrong types of candy can also lead to broken teeth and damaged braces.

Candy will be collected at our office at 23 North Federal Avenue on November 2nd between 3 and 6 PM.  The candy must be unopened.  Please no bites.  It will then be shipped to troops overseas.

We hope to see you on November 2nd to help turn your children’s excess candy into cash!
